Due to the repair of a hydrant, there will be a temporary water shut off on S. Central on Thursday, September 25, 2014. The shut off will affect S. Central from Prairie Ave to Michigan Ave. The shut off is expected to occur from approximately 8:00 AM until approximately 2:30 PM.
We do not anticipate a boil order to be necessary with this repair.
Once the water service is restored, residents are advised to turn their water back on in the basement where the water first comes into the house, and allow the water to run clear prior to using water in any other location of the home.
