The ADVISORY boil order issued by the City of Highwood as a result of repair work on the system’s primary transmission line has been LIFTED as of July 10, 2014 at 8:00 AM for area north of Washington Ave between Green Bay Road and Western Avenue. Laboratory results on water samples taken indicate no bacterial infiltration. Water lines do not need to be flushed and no other further precautionary measures need to be taken since no bacteria was found.
