[ARCHIVED] Downtown Highland Park - suspect identified-parade shooting - avoid area

Advisory - suspect has been identified as Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III.  Vehicle - 2010 Honda Fit Plate DM80653.  Not in custody.

Highland Park Statement:

SHELTER IN PLACE. Highland Park Police are responding to an incident in downtown Highland Park. All 4th of July events have been canceled. Please avoid downtown Highland Park. Take shelter if in downtown HP. More information will be shared as it becomes available.


The  City of Highwood is monitoring and assisting with the shooting at the Highland Park 4th of July parade.  


Do not enter downtown Highland Park.
