As you are aware, the City’s contractor has been working on North Avenue preparing the road for reconstruction. As part of this project, curbs and sidewalks will also be replaced along North Avenue from Western to Green Bay Road.
This notice is to inform you that beginning on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at 6:00 AM, residents in this area will have no access to their driveway for approximately one month as crews remove and subsequently replace the existing sidewalk and curbs and roadway.
Beginning Tuesday, October 6th, we will allow temporary daytime and overnight parking on N. Central, Funston, Grove, and Palmer. You will not receive a citation for parking on these streets during this portion of the construction period.
We also ask that during this period, pedestrians avoid walking East-Westbound on North Avenue due to the lack of sidewalks.
Additional notices and changes to this schedule may be required as we continue through the project.
