Northwood Middle School

North Shore School District 112 officials recently unveiled their $40 million plan to modernize Northwood Junior High School and bring the 1950s-era school in line with today’s learning styles.

Plans for the new school feature a centrally-located commons area that includes space for a library and dining area that is more circular than square.
