Beginning, June 14, 2016 Fire and Emergency Medical Services are now provided by the City of Highland Park Fire Department. This transfer of service and the closure of the Highwood Fire Station was approved by Highwood voters on a March 15th referendum.
Residents, businesses, and visitors in need of emergency services should continue to dial 911 and the appropriate response will be dispatched through the Highland Park Fire Department. Non-emergency calls can be directed to the department at 847-432-7730. The Administrative Office can be reached at 847-433-3110.
The non-emergency number has staff available 24/7, while the Administrative Office is only staffed Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
