Recent Ordinances Passed by the City Council

The City of Highwood City Council passed the following Ordinances:

Landscape License Ordinance 09-0-27

On July 21, 2009, the City of Highwood passed into Ordinance a Landscape Licensing program which requires all landscapers operating within the City of Highwood to obtain a License from the City and maintain a copy of that License within all vehicles operating within the city. Beginning January 1, 2010, all landscape companies should be applying for licenses. Applications can be mailed or delivered to City Hall and must be completed by March 31, 2010. Letters and application forms were mailed out to area landscaping companies in January.
