Through the efforts of the Josephson Institute of Ethics, the CHARACTER COUNTS! program was created to educate and develop character in our nation’s youth.  As a Coalition Member of the CHARACTER COUNTS! program, the City of Highwood encourages all citizens to not only promote the program’s “Six Pillars of Character(sm)” to our children, but also to set an example by making each of these “Six Pillars of Character” an important part of how we live our own lives.
